Therapy is a personal journey, and the timeline can vary for each individual. For most clients, I recommend committing to weekly sessions for at least 8-12 weeks. This initial period provides a consistent foundation for the work to begin taking root and allows us to gauge how therapy is supporting your goals. After that, we can reassess the frequency of sessions based on your needs and progress.
As for when you might start to feel a difference, some clients notice a sense of relief or calm after just a few sessions. This can be a sign that your nervous system is beginning to adjust and regulate. Over time, these feelings may become more lasting, indicating that the work is integrating. It’s important to remember that healing is a gradual process, and meaningful change often builds steadily. I encourage you to remain patient with yourself as we navigate this journey together.
